CAN`T LOOSE WEIGHT, TIRE EASILY, CRAVING CARB/SUGAR SNACKS
IT`S NOT YOUR FAULT
If any of this is part of your story, the following information may be the most important thing you ever read regarding your health.
You may be among the eighty million Americans who have a condition called `Insulin Resistance`, also known as Glucose Intolerance or Metabolic Syndrome. This condition is completely reversible. The scientific information contained here can help you effectively and forever change the way your body responds to food and heal the underlying cause of your difficulty to loose weight, create energy and feel good.
Insulin Resistance does not mean you are a diabetic!
Insulin Resistance does mean you are very likely to develop diabetes in the future if it goes uncorrected.
Insulin Resistance is completely reversible with a sensible diet and the all-natural `Glucofast` supplement.
Insulin Resistance has affected my entire family and as a 30 year nurse, it was very difficult to watch my daughters starve themselves, exercise and still gain weight. I would like to share what I have learned with you and help you regain control of your health, your weight and your ability to have a good life.
The excess weight is not your fault. It is not caused by a lack of willpower.
Many Scientists at Health Institutes and Research Centers around the world have clearly identified the existence of Insulin Resistance (over 80 million Americans) and its effects, such as; obesity, fatigue, cravings, cardiovascular disease, strokes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, excessive long-term menopausal symptoms in women and more.
You need to understand the link between burning up those calories and Insulin Resistance in order to reverse your condition.
All the food we eat is broken down into glucose, protein or other micronutrients. The body uses these nutrients to build new cells, to sustain metabolism and for immune function. Glucose is the basic fuel (energy) for all body functions.
The brain needs a constant stable blood sugar level in order to tell the body to perform all its functions from minute to minute. All cells in the body need to get their energy from the glucose without allowing the level of sugar in the blood to fluctuate too much. This is where insulin does its work.- it tells the cells to absorb glucose from the bloodstream. The body is always aware of what is being digested, how much sugar is in the bloodstream and how much energy the cells need for functions being performed. The body knows exactly how much insulin to release to use up that sugar into energy.
Our body was designed to get its energy from complex carbohydrates. Today`s busy lifestyle, fast pace and eating on the run makes it easy for us to consume a lot more simple carbohydrates whose abundant sugars enter the blood stream very quickly. This tells the body to release high levels of insulin into the bloodstream-remember the brain does not allow high levels of sugar in the blood. The simple refined sugars from these simple carbohydrates are burned up very quickly, leaving behind a high level of insulin in the bloodstream. This also is totally not acceptable to the brain.
Healthy people have about 20,000 `insulin receptor sites` or `doorways` on each cell. The high levels of insulin left in the bloodstream after the rapid burn of simple sugars cause the cells to become overwhelmed and they will work to protect themselves by `shutting off` those receptor sites or doorways. This makes the cells become less and less sensitive to insulin and glucose to the point where each cell will end up with about 5000 receptor sites instead of the normal 20,000 doorways. This in turn causes the glucose to `bounce off` the cell wall instead of entering the cell and being transformed into energy. This is `Insulin Resistance`. This glucose stays in the bloodstream, eventually causing elevated blood sugar levels and possibly diabetes.
Remember that an elevated blood sugar level is totally not acceptable to the brain so it has to respond and it does. The body will now send the excess glucose to the liver where it is converted to fat which goes back out into the bloodstream and is sent throughout the body to be stored as fat. You guessed it—the first place it is stored is around the abdomen. The really annoying thing is now you have all those extra fat cells and fat cells are loaded with glucose receptors, causing you to crave even more sugar-rich foods.
All that extra insulin is still in your bloodstream because it can`t enter the cells. The inability to get rid of the excess insulin and to burn the simple sugars becomes a viscous circle giving you a lack of energy and you will be signaled take in more food in order to try to get the energy the body needs to perform all its functions.
The body will continue to turn this sugar into fat and because it didn’t get converted into energy you will be craving food and the whole process starts over again. You will never again have the energy your body needs until you reverse the `insulin resistance`, thereby letting the glucose get into the cells to be metabolized.
The second viscous circle that takes place is triggered by the pure enjoyment we get from eating those much loved high carb/sugar foods. These quick fix pleasure foods have been overstimulating the production of seratonin, dopamine and endorphins. These elements make us `feel good` and are the reason we become addicted to high carb/sugar foods. We all want to feel good and our brain especially loves the `up` feeling obtained from food.
The `feel good` sensation from high carb/sugar foods only lasts as long as it takes you to eat it because your body is not metabolizing it and in a short time you want more-hence the cravings. The body will constantly keep trying to get that feeling back and all you end up with is excess weight.
We all know at least one person whom we think is addicted to running, jogging or exercising. Well, they probably are addicted to that activity for the exact same reason another person is addicted to high carb/sugar foods. Exercise also stimulates the production of seratonin, dopamine and endorphins-the elements that make us feel good! The difference is that, with exercise, the amount of these elements being released is much higher and the effects last longer. So this person is going to reap all the health benefits from the exercise and the brain is going to tell them to keep doing it because it loves that `feel good` feeling. This is the beneficial viscous circle that plays a very important role in reversing Insulin Resistance.
If you have any of these factors you may have Insulin Resistance:
-abdominal fat
-lack of energy
-craving high carbohydrate or sugary snacks
-elevated blood sugar level-especially fasting or early morning levels
-low HDL or good cholesterol
-high triglycerides
-high blood pressure (blood pressure medications will not correct insulin resistance)
-long term menopausal symptoms
-you eat right, exercise and still gain weight
-even if you are thin and have any of the above, you may be Insulin Resistant
You are at higher risk for developing this condition if there is any family history of Type 2 diabetes, if you had gestational diabetes, have hypertension or if you are overweight.
Good News-Insulin Resistance responds very well to changes in your diet and exercise.
The human body was designed to get all the nutrients it needs from lean meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and whole grains, dairy products came much later. This literally means no processed foods. It is well known that if you want to eat healthy you only shop around the perimeter of the grocery store, the middle isles are full of over-processed, high sugar, high sodium, low nutrition foods & drinks that should be avoided.
It is very important to eat three meals and two snacks per day. Breakfast is paramount.
It is difficult to get through one day without high sugar foods, especially if you crave them, so just try to get through your first day/week without any high-sugar drinks. This is a great way to start but you will find that the power of addiction to high sugar/carb foods is very strong. Replace as much of your daily liquid intake as you can with water- your body will benefit immediately. You will be successful by taking small steps. Then try not to put sugar in your coffee. Remember, `Insulin Resistance` is completely reversible.
By simply eliminating high-sugar drinks, you have decreased the excess sugar in your blood and already have decreased the rate of `fat storage`. By adding the all-natural super-food supplement, `Glucofast` you can reset your metabolism to start turning
that extra fat into energy and your sugar cravings will decrease dramatically.
If you want to eat healthy, a very good rule is to get rid of the five whites-white sugar, white flour, white rice, white wine and milk. This sounds terrible but it really works.
White flour is refined to the point that it is a simple carbohydrate and your body treats it like sugar. You can obtain whole, unbleached white flour at most grocery stores now and it is a complex carbohydrate with all the good nutrients. All forms of sugar need to be eliminated-we can get all the energy production we need from the natural sugars in fruit, vegetables and whole flour. When purchasing bread you need to look for whole grain breads that include the `germ`–even regular whole wheat bread is not a healthy choice. Read the label of anything labeled `whole wheat` and if the label doesn`t say it includes the wheat `germ`, don’t buy it. Cereals you choose should only contain `whole grains` also. Brown rice is packed with healthy nutrients and fibre whereas white rice has the husk and all the nutrients and fibre removed. Red wine is a healthier choice than white, has antioxidants and less sugar. The lactose (a sugar) in milk has been known to cause many intolerances for years. Cheddar cheese and yogurt are much higher sources of calcium. Non instant skim milk powder has nine times more calcium than regular milk and is wonderful for baking with.
By eliminating the five whites from your diet you are greatly decreasing the amount of `simple sugars` which the body is turning into fat because `Insulin Resistance` prevents them from being converted to energy.
Glucofast™ is the ONLY natural solution that reverses the cause of glucose intolerance quickly and completely, ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!
An apple a day is still the best dietary advice anyone can give you. Try to have fruit for your two snacks during the day, this will give you a great `pick-me-up` and your body will love you for it.
Plan your meals to include at least two vegetables-three would be better. Don’t count potatoes as a vegetable but consider them as a starch or simple carbohydrate. There is no such thing as left over vegetables at my house because I always add them to my meal.
By eliminating overly refined processed foods from your diet you will also be getting rid of trans fats, saturated fats and triglycerides ( all contributing to heart disease & strokes) excess sodium( which contributes to high blood pressure), lots of preservatives and chemicals which contribute to inflammation and therefore any/all diseases. My rule of thumb is that if a food can sit in a warehouse for 3-5 years and then in a grocery store storage area for 1-2 years and then on the grocery store shelves for several months—is it fit to eat? My answer is `NO`.
My other rule is that if you are eliminating foods you love—treat yourself once a week. If you used to eat improper foods every day and have eliminated them for the most part, you are not going to keel over dead from one treat-right. You will eventually replace favorite bad foods with favorite good foods that don’t contribute to Insulin Resistance, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and obesity.
Exercise
Don’t you just love hearing that exercising for thirty minutes a day, three to five times a week is essential for good health. Well it is and until you start exercising and getting that increase in the `feel good` seratonins, dopamine and endorphins, you will always dislike hearing it. Once you start to decrease the `Insulin Resistance` and getting the proper energy from your food, you will want to get more exercise, it will be much easier to do and you will feel wonderful. Exercise also reduces stress which will contribute to keeping the body`s insulin levels in check. Hormonal balance is seriously affected by insulin, meaning if you have `Insulin Resistance` you probably also have other hormones out of whack.. The symptoms of hormone imbalance will disappear with the correction of your insulin resistance.
