If You Are Having Difficulty Loosing Weight for Any Reason, Your Metabolism is Too Slow
You Need To Know How To `Rev-up` Your Metabolism
Before you begin trying to rev up your metabolism, you need to reverse your insulin resistance by taking the all natural supplement `Glucofast`.
Specific Foods That `Quick-start` your Metabolism
The key to shedding major pounds is to determine what kind of weight control `genes` you have and then enjoy the foods that are proven to activate them.
This is the new emerging science of `Nutrigenomics`. Researchers at many Schools of Medicine have discovered that the foods we eat actually communicate with our genes and each persons individual genetic code responds differently to the messages sent out by different nutrients.
You can consume foods that `turn on` your weight loss genes and `turn off` your weight gain DNA. The proper foods for you will set your metabolism very high and loosing weight becomes easy.
There are 3 DNA types
Answer the questions below and if you say yes to three questions, you are probably that type.
DNA Type 1
I dont feel like being active after meals
I often crave sweets when I`m tired
When I feel on edge, a snack calms me down
I have a hard time remembering things
My moods are affected by my menstral cycle
DNA Type 2
I frequently have dark circles under my eyes
I suffer from headaches or heart palpatations
I tire easily, just doing chores
I often crave food, even right after a meal
I get light headed upon standing
DNA Type 3
I am bothered by strong odors, ie perfume, candles or smoke
I rarely ever feel energetic or upbeat
I hardly ever break a sweat
My muscles get sore even after easy exercise
I am sensitive to caffeine, experiencing headaches, disturbed sleep and/or anxiety
DNA Type 1`s need help to balance hormones. Research shows that levels of the hormones serotonin, leptin and insulin are controlled by cellular DNA. The fatigue, brain fog, cravings and ravenous appetite are caused by an imbalance of these 3 hormones.
Type 1`s need Omega 3 and fiber
Studies show that omega 3`s activate genes in fat cells that make leptin, activate genes in the brain that make serotonin ( the feel good hormone) and activate genes in the pancreas that make insulin.
Fiber will stabilize blood sugar levels and help you burn glucose and fat for energy.
The best food to achieve this is 1 cup of winter squash daily
Type 2`s produce up to 200% more cortisol than other people, they even produce excess cortisol when relaxing. Cortisol causes stress, makes you feel blue, tired, causes you to over eat and triggers the body to store more fat around the belly.
Type 2`s need zinc and B vitamins. The amount of zinc and B vitamins in 4 ounces of red meat daily will help the liver break down excess cortisol. If you dont want to eat red meat, B complex and zinc supplements will work.
Type 3`s are very sensitive to toxins and the free radicals that result naturally from digestion and other body processes. These free radicals make the liver sluggish and less able to break down fats. The brain fog and aches and pains are a direct result of toxins in the tissues.
Type 3`s need poweful antioxidants, especially polyphenols that can be obtained from dark chocolate, green tea, apples, red grapes, purple grape juice, berries and onions. You need two servings of any of these daily.
By eating the right food for your genotype you will put your metabolism into high gear.

We have come to beleive that eating less and exercising more is the way to loose weight. Well this is a terribly incorrect myth !
When you eat less, your body thinks it`s starving and that is a threat to your survival. The most primitive part of the brain will take over and alert your body that you are not getting enough food. Your body will now do everything possible to ensure that you don`t starve to death. The first thing it will do is store all your food as fat and then slow down your metabolism so as not to burn up stored fat and this means you have less energy, feel weaker and gain weight. Your appetite will actually increase because your brain has dictated that you are not getting enough food and whenever you get near food your brain will tell you to eat as much as possible because it doesn`t know when it will get food again. When your body gets into this `starvation mode`, you will actually gain weight instead of loosing it.
When you eat less and exercise, you burn more calories than you take in, your brain again thinks you are starving and it will automatically slow down your metabolism to prevent starvation. At this point you are feeling wiped out because your body wont burn the calories for energy and you really dont feel like exercising and you will probably stop. You end up eating more, exercising less and gaining weight.
When you do loose weight this way, only half of it is fat and the other half is muscle mass. Loosing muscle cells slows down your metabolism. Muscle cells burn more calories than fat cells, so again you can only loose half as much fat as you would if you were eating properly.
Skipping Breakfast
This is one of the worst things you can do if you are trying to loose weight because it puts your body into starvation mode and shuts down your metabolism. You will get to the point of eating just about anything (and everything) to postpone that tired, sick, hungry feeling.
How do Suma Wrestlers get so fat……….
They purpously do not eat breakfast, exercise for about 5 hours, have a huge meal and then take a long nap. This enables them to gain a lot of weight quickly. So those of us who skip breakfast, go to work, eat snacks or a small lunch, come home, eat a big meal and got to bed shortly thereafter….voila—mega weight gain! Food should not be consumed within 3 hours of going to bed.
How To `Rev-up` Your Metabolism
Eat Breakfast
Protein-Make sure your breakfast includes protein to keep you feeling fuller longer and gives you long lasting energy. ( eggs & whole grain toast)
Fiber- Fiber also keeps you feeling full longer, gives energy over a longer period of time, absorbs any fat & sugar in the gut and prevents them from being absorbed.( whole fruit & whole grain )
Sugar-Sugar increases your appetite, is digested too quickly leaving you hungry with no energy and will make you crave more sugary food in an hour.
Eat 3 meals per day-all whole foods…nothing processed
Eat 3 small snacks per day–fruit, nuts, seeds are the best
Avoid `not real` foods such as packaged mixes, instant potatoes, squishy bread, sweetened fruit juices, pop, processed meats, foods containing anything artificial and anything made from processed wheat–thats would include the entire gamut of snack foods!
If you eat all `whole foods` you can loose 10-15 pounds without ever even thinking of dieting!
Why? Because your metabolism will be right up where it should be and you`ll have all the energy you need to feel great.
How to Increase Your Resting Metabolic Rate
By increasing your resting metabolic rate you can burn calories while reading, watching TV and even sleeping.
The best way to do this is to use `Interval Training` while getting your exercise (30 minutes, 3 times a week).
What is Interval Training?
It is simply alternating short bursts of intense activity with intervals of lighter activity. For instance, if you walk briskly for 30 minutes 3 times a week, incorporate short bursts of jogging for a minute or two into your walk. You will burn more calories, improve your cardiovascular fitness and add variety to your routine. Interval training also reduces the build-up of lactic acid. Doing this regularily can help you loose weight nine times faster than you would with regular exercise.
This is a powerful tool for beginners as well as acomplished athletes training for olympics etc.
