How to Eliminate Sugar From Your Diet
The worst thing you can do is to try to eliminate sugar cold turkey. The cravings will be overwhelming.
Getting off added sugar is the most wonderful thing you can do for yourself. However, it is no easy task and it is nearly impossible if you havent taken steps to reverse your `insulin resistance` by taking the all natural `Glucofast`.
Research in animals shows that sugar may have some addictive properties. A study from Princeton University found rats given too much sugar actually suffered symptoms of withdrawal when the sugar was taken away. I firmly believe this because I am finding it very difficult to get through a whole day without `something sweet` and I have to tell you I am not a sugar lover.
Sugar alone is bad enough, but most sugary foods also contain a lot of fat-usually trans fats or saturated fat. These both greatly increase the risk ofor heart disease and diabetes.
Sugar withdrawal can be compared to cigarette withdrawal. The cravings do subside after the first week and they actually only last about a minute at a time.
Add two things from the list each week and do your best.
Dont forget to `treat yourself ` at the end of the week.

Spend a week planning ahead
Have a high protein breakfast( eggs, whole grain toast, oatmeal with raisins & top with yogurt)
Don`t skip any meals
Have 2 snacks ( fruit and/or nuts/seeds)
Give up pop and sweetened juices
Don`t substitute pop/juice for ones with artificial sweeteners
Drink plenty of water
Stop putting sugar in your coffee
Give up candy-
Drink green or black tea
Load your refrigerator with fruits & vegetables & eat lots of them.
There are some great snack bars that are high in fibre, protein and omega-3 fats; they are gluten & dairy free and made with whole foods such as: Omega Smart, Unibar and Biogenesis. Have plenty on hand and use these to satisfy the cravings or as snacks.
Chocolate-get some good quality dark chocolate and enjoy small amounts-it is highly antioxidant.
Give up squishy white bread, crackers and processed packaged treats that are loaded with white sugar, trans fats and chemicals that allow them to stay on shelves for months/years.
Never eat within 2-3 hours before going to bed.
Exercise makes everything easier-30 minutes, 3 x / week.
You will feel much better immediately and may even shed some unwanted weight.
